I'm a researcher in Computer Science and Machine Learning, where I have worked on Sign Language Interpretation, Medical Image Analysis, Large Language Models, Geospatial Monitoring, and Remote Sensing. My recent work involved developing a novel deep-learning architecture that combines attention-based CNNs and Vision Transformers for various applications. I've published research on enhancing sign language interpretation using a multiheaded CNN approach combined with hand landmarks and Large Language Models (LLMs). This work aims to bridge the communication gap between the deaf community and the hearing world through real-time sign language recognition and translation. I've also worked on developing systems for detecting diabetic retinopathy severity levels using advanced computer vision techniques. My research interests extend to environmental monitoring, where I've contributed to studies estimating carbon emissions from biomass burning in the Western Ghats using remote sensing data and innovative calculation methods. I'm passionate about applying artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques to solve real-world problems in healthcare, accessibility, and environmental science. Through my work, I aim to develop practical solutions that can make a meaningful impact on society.
